Rosaline Hill | Principal Architect
Rosaline began her business in 2011, after a decade of working at Barry J. Hobin and Associate Architects, as well as 4 years of work in Toronto and London, England. As both architect and development consultant she has a wide experience of infill development in Ottawa. Her projects are largely residential and are part of the streetscape of neighbourhoods across the nation's capital, from custom singles to 'missing middle' development to mid-rise apartment buildings. Rosaline's thorough knowledge of Ottawa's Official Plan and other regulations allows for designs that win approvals and make the City a better place to live. She has consulted for the City of Ottawa on R4 zoning, and volunteers with GOHBA providing input on upcoming infill bylaws. Rosaline has recently engaged in extensive research on the patterns and forces governing neighbourhood evolution. In May of 2020 she founded Walkable Ottawa and now works collaboratively to advance walkability in urban neighbourhoods.

Alastair Whitewolf | Partner, Senior Technologist
Alastair has extensive architectural technology experience having worked in the field since 2001, and combines a valuable mix of technical expertise and creative passion to successfully manage projects through all stages, from schematic design to final occupancy. He previously worked as a Senior Technologist and Job Captain for Douglas Hardie Architect in Ottawa. Alastair has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Guelph and an Architectural Technician Diploma from Algonquin College. He specializes in mid-rise and high-rise condos, low rise wood-frame apartments, planned unit developments and urban infill housing, in addition to possessing wide-ranging experience in large custom homes and renovations, mid-rise office buildings, base building retail, and heritage renovations.
Jonathan Harris | Office Manager, Approvals
Jonathan brings detailed organization and administration to the team as Office Manager, keeping track of the progress of projects and client accounts. Jonathan is also a junior technologist with a background in civil engineering. Jonathan assists with municipal approvals, bringing knowledge of zoning and the Official Plan, providing research and administrative support for Committee of Adjustment applications, Site Plan Approvals and other City processes.
Marcel Pelletier | Drafting, Site Review
Marcel has been professionally involved in architecture since 1998. Having obtained an Architectural Technology diploma, he pursued and successfully completed his Bachelor of Architecture in 2003 from Université Laval. He worked with Douglas Hardie Architect for nearly 15 years as an Intermediate Technologist, Designer, and Project Leader. Marcel has recently worked for the AFGM Architects Consortium as Quality Assurance & Field Reviewer on the iconic West Block Project, future home of the country's House of Commons.
Ruth Vandergeest | Intern Architect, Drafting
Ruth recently graduated from her Masters of Architecture at Dalhousie University. She has also successfully completed a degree in Bachelor of Environmental Design Studies at Dalhousie and a Bachelor of Architectural Studies specializing in Urbanism from Carleton University. Ruth has experience working in Ontario and Nova Scotia on a large range of projects, including facade redesign, and small additions to large multi-phased projects for cultural centres and senior's long-term care campuses. Ruth's interests lie at the intersection of design, efficiency, and urban impact, which translates to working on how to make better buildings to live in and make the city a better place to live.
